SIS Bulletin

'SIS Bulletin' is a student-made application that brings up another level of communication in school communities using device beacons provided by Estimote. SIS Bulletin is supported with beacons installed in schools that will send information related to extracurricular activities or important mandatory meetings through notifications. This app will be provided for students and teachers at Seoul International School.

Not simply using school-provided online bulletin board that provides school news related to extracurricular activities or important mandatory meetings that students that fully experience to develop their experience in education, but SiS Bulletin will be processed in order to give necessary information from communities, such as sports council or student leadership programs through a more comfortable and accessible way, which is to give information through notifications to the students’ phones. For instance, when a person passes by the gym with his/her phone, a notification will appear reminding them anything news such as “Don’t forget to go watch our Varsity Boys Volleyball game at the gym!!!” and remind students or teachers about any notifications depending on the location of the school.

SIS Bulletin is an effective school app device that can be applied to any community in the future, interconnecting every member of the school into one full and whole team.
